Hugs to you Kali,for all you’re going through. I lived 1 block away from a Ronald McDonald House and used to meet the parents at the field across the street while our kids played together. It’s such a great and necessary service that they provide.

Kali, this was a great blog! I’ve spend 4 weeks in the RMH and I’m completely humbled by their hospitality. I’ve also been touched by the amount of volunteers they get to prepare and serve the dinners. The volunteers are families, teenagers, elderly, businesses, churches, providers from the Nebraska Medical Center and many more. And yes, Jana IS A DOLL!!

Jessica, a $1000+ donor…very impressive. I’ve seen those gift cards to grocery stores handed out twice now at the RMH to families who’ve shown up under emergency situations and have nothing but the clothes on their backs. I think it’s a great charity for classrooms to get involved in. My hats off to you!
